As socialists continue to win primaries across the country, the propaganda press is falsely claiming that Republicans are reviving the “Red Scare” in a bid to shield the Democrat Party from the consequences of its explicit embrace of communism.
“GOP reboots the Red Scare as young Democrats embrace socialism,” a headline from Axios’ Avery Lotz read. According to Lotz, Trump and Republicans “are trying to re-introduce a national fear of ‘godless communists’ ahead of the critical midterms.”
