Argentina’s narrow victory over England means Sunday’s match will be the third time Argentine soccer star Lionel Messi has played in a World Cup final. Messi is in his sixth World Cup appearance overall.
Argentina has only won the World Cup with Messi once, when the team defeated France in 2022.
