    As America approaches its 250th anniversary, we should take stock of what has always made this country exceptional: a belief in hard work, free enterprise, and the freedom to build. These principles turned the United States into the world’s leading economy, and they remain the key to restoring American manufacturing strength and competitiveness today.

    The chemical industry is at the center of that effort. Chemistry powers nearly every sector of the economy, from energy to agriculture to national defense. But for America to lead, we need policies that unleash our ability to innovate, produce, and compete. That starts with unleashing energy dominance, pro-growth permitting reform, smart trade policy, and a Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) program that works as Congress intended.
