Proposed Guidelines Expose Psychiatry’s Catastrophic Diagnosing & Drugging Failure

Yesterday, the New York Times ran an article that announced that a group of psychiatrists had gotten together and decided that the industry needed to develop guidelines for patients to get off the psychiatric drugs that were endlessly prescribed for years. AbleChild is pleased that the psychiatric and pharmaceutical industry is finally addressing its overprescribing but would argue these new guidelines are a day late and a dollar short, attempting to provide remedies long after the harm by drugs has been inflicted.
