As his administration, particularly the Department of War, feuds with far-left artificial intelligence company Anthropic over the company’s efforts to stop the United States armed forces from effectively using its product to defend the nation and protect its interests abroad, President Donald Trump sounded off and showed how the company’s leftism-driven intransigence is putting America at risk.
What sparked the fight is that Anthropic told the federal government that it does not want its products used in surveillance efforts or in fully autonomous weapon systems, suggesting as it did so that it is generally against the use of its AI offerings by the Trump administration. The president, rather than negotiating, responded with threats and fury over the presumption of a company telling the government what to do with a service it had purchased.
