President Trump said Google CEO Sundar Pichai refused his request to rename the Atlantic Ocean on Google Maps after the firm already adopted Gulf of America and Lake America for U.S. users.
Speaking Wednesday at a rally in Clemson, S.C., Trump recounted calling the Google chief and floating the change for the world’s second-largest ocean. Pichai said no, according to the president’s account, citing the number of countries the waterway touches.
