Relatives of Sept. 11 victims packed a federal appeals court in New York City on Wednesday as Saudi Arabia sought to avoid a trial over allegations that government-linked individuals helped support some of the Al Qaeda hijackers.
About 100 family members attended arguments before the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in lower Manhattan, where Saudi Arabia is challenging a lower court ruling allowing the long-running lawsuit to proceed.
