    President Donald Trump admitted Wednesday that he learned his administration could use a “softer touch” on immigration after weeks of protests in Minneapolis over its immigration enforcement operations. Minneapolis has been a hotspot for Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids in the wake of revelations of large-scale public fraud linked to the Somali expat community in Minnesota. Tensions were further heightened last month as two protesters were shot and killed as they attempted to interfere with federal agents. 
    On the same day, border czar Tom Homan said that 700 federal law enforcement officers will leave Minnesota, following protests against the Trump administration’s illegal immigration crackdown in the state.
    “If you are in the country illegally, you are not off the table,” Homan said at a press conference in Minneapolis, The Hill reported. “Let me be clear: President Trump fully intends to achieve mass deportations during this administration, and immigration enforcement actions will continue every day throughout this country.”
    It also came on the same day that Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) latest roundup of illegal aliens was announced including its latest array of criminal offenders, including a pedophile, a sex offender, and even a burglar.
