WAUKESHA, Wis. (CN) — A Wisconsin man was sentenced Thursday to two life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murder of his mother and stepfather as part of a plot to assassinate President Donald Trump.
“I choose to find that he is not eligible for release to extended supervision because I don’t know, given the nature of these acts, whether a profound and significant change can occur,” Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge Ralph Ramirez said. “That will be something for those in the Department of Corrections to consider moving forward within the framework of the levels of the prison.”
