The Democracy Defenders Fund has filed a lawsuit against the FBI, seeking the release of an audio recording that reportedly shows Border Czar Tom Homan allegedly accepting a bribe.The lawsuit, filed in the D.C. District Court, alleges that the FBI wrongly denied DDF’s request for the recording under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
The suit references a September report from MS Now, asserting that FBI agents recorded Homan accepting $50,000 from undercover agents posing as would-be government contractors.
Homan has denied any wrongdoing.
DDF has specifically asked the court to order the FBI to release the recording.
