Former U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi broke her silence after being fired from her position by President Donald Trump on social media platform X, where she also teased a new role in the private sector, saying she will “continue fighting for President Trump.” Bondi’s ouster comes just several weeks after the removal of Kristi Noem as the Secretary of Homeland Security.
“Leading President Trump’s historic and highly successful efforts to make America safer and more secure has been the honor of a lifetime, and easily the most consequential first year of the Department of Justice in American history,” she went on to write in her post on X. “I remain eternally grateful for the trust that President Trump placed in me to Make America Safe Again.”
