Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) took an opportunity during a recent hearing to weigh in on the topic of mass fraud, in a clip that’s now going viral due to the flippant way she treated the matter. According to Crockett, there’s no reason for Americans to be worried about fraud because “no system is perfect” and there’s “always been fraud.”
Crockett started her comments by saying she wanted to address the issue, which was brought up by the chairman during the meeting, slamming him for his concerns about fraud and for not providing any numerical data to support his claims. In a rather dismissive way, the Texas Democrat said she had numbers if that was something people were worried about.
