Harvard University professor Larry Summers resigned from his post amid investigations into his connection with late pedophile and human trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Summers, who formerly served as U.S. Treasury Secretary and was, at one time, the president of Harvard, stopped teaching and stepped back from his role as Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government director as well.
Recently released emails reveal that Summers was in communication with Epstein up until the day before he was arrested in 2018 for sex trafficking of minors. The university released a statement saying it was “conducting a review of information concerning individuals at Harvard included in the newly released Jeffrey Epstein documents.”
