As the feud over the SAVE America Act continues to work its way through Congress, with Senators fighting and bickering over the bill and the Uniparty firmly aligning behind the opinion that it is utterly unacceptable, for vague reasons basically related to them not wanting the photo ID requirements or proof of citizenship requirements to be in force, it seems.
Amongst those who has been most staunchly opposed to the bill is Sen. Chuck Schumer. At one point, for example, he appeared on CNN and attacked the bill by insisting that it is essentially Jim Crow 2.0, saying, “We have the voter ID laws that, first, each state can have its own voter ID laws, and some do and some don’t. But secondly, what they are proposing in this so-called SAVE Act is like Jim Crow 2.0. They make it so hard to get any kind of voter ID that more than 20 million legitimate people, mainly poor people and people of color, will not be able to vote under this law.”
