War Department cuts ties with Harvard University over wokeness

War Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Friday night that the War Department is ending its relationship with Harvard University because “Harvard is woke; The War Department is not.”The department said it will end its military education, fellowships and certificate programs at the Ivy League institution this fall, but military service members who are already attending classes will be able to finish their courses. 
“For too long, this department has sent our best and brightest officers to Harvard, hoping the university would better understand and appreciate our warrior class,” Hegseth said. “Instead, too many of our officers came back looking too much like Harvard — heads full of globalist and radical ideologies that do not improve our fighting ranks.” 
The secretary noted that the school used to be a good place for military personnel to study at the graduate level, but it now has an atmosphere that is incongruent with American military values and interests.
“Campus research programs have partnered with the Chinese Communist Party,” he said. “And university leadership encouraged a campus environment that celebrated Hamas, allowed attacks on Jews, and still promotes discrimination based on race in violation of Supreme Court decisions.” 
Hegseth added that although the decision only impacts the military’s relationship with Harvard, he is considering cutting ties with other prestigious universities in the near future and will evaluate if schools help develop warriors at the right price.
Havard has not commented on the decision so far.
