The leadership of the U.S. Catholic Church is once again taking aim at President Trump’s immigration enforcement agenda, this time accusing the administration of “spreading fear” across immigrant communities as federal authorities ramp up deportations and interior enforcement.
Paul Coakley, the president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), made the remarks Sunday during an appearance on CBS News’ Face the Nation with host Margaret Brennan.
