President Donald Trump attended the opening of the College Football National Championship in Miami Gardens, Florida between Indiana and Miami. The president was spotted waving to the crowd and stood surrounded by members of his family for the national anthem.
In addition to members of the Trump family, the president is joined by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a Miami native who represented the State of Florida in the U.S. Senate before joining the administration.
Miami, which last won the national title in 2001, and Indiana, which has never competed in the championship, are set to battle for this year’s title in the game, which kicks off at 7:30pm local time.
