President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order reclassifying cannabis.The president issued the order, calling the move “common sense.” The order removes cannabis from the list of Schedule 1 drugs, though it will remain illegal at the federal level, according to the New York Post.
At present, 24 states have legalized cannabis for recreational use while 40 permit it for medical purposes.
