President Trump revealed that he won’t be attending the Super Bowl this year.“It’s just too far away. I would. I’ve gotten great hands for the Super Bowl, they like me,” Trump said during an interview with the New York Post on Friday. “I would go if, you know, it was a little bit shorter.”
He criticized this year’s halftime performers Bad Bunny and Green Day.
“I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” Trump said.
Bad Bunny has refused to perform in the U.S., citing Trump’s immigration policies.
Billy Joe Armstrong, Green Day’s lead singer, has also publicly criticized Trump.
Trump attended the Super Bowl in 2025, the first year of his second term.
