In yet more good news for President Donald Trump and the Republican Party headed into the 2026 midterms, Hispanic Americans have, according to new polling, shifted firmly back behind Trump, with his operation to capture Maduro apparently leading to a massively increased level of support for him and his policies from that demographic.
Such is important because the president needs to hold onto Congress to get his agenda completed, and doing so will mean he needs to hold onto districts in states like Texas and Nevada that have many Hispanic voters, who could go either way in 2026 and help tilt the election toward either party, if won over en masse. Further, as the Hispanic demographic is growing, winning it sets the scene for future victories.
