President Donald Trump on Tuesday paid tribute to the late Scott Adams, who died Tuesday morning after a long battle with prostate cancer.Adams was most well-known for his “Dilbert” cartoon comic strip, though he later found success as a podcaster, hosting “Coffee with Scott Adams.”
“Sadly, the Great Influencer, Scott Adams, has passed away. He was a fantastic guy, who liked and respected me when it wasn’t fashionable to do so,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “He bravely fought a long battle against a terrible disease. My condolences go out to his family, and all of his many friends and listeners. He will be truly missed. God bless you Scott!”
Adams was an early supporter of Trump and he regularly espoused right-wing political positions on his podcast. He embraced Christianity in his final days.
Accompanying Trump’s post was a photo of the pair together in the White House.
