The Trump–Kennedy Center stated that it will sue a jazz musician for $1 million in damages after he canceled a Christmas Eve performance in an effort to protest the venue’s renaming.
Vibraphonist and drummer Chuck Redd canceled his free holiday performance in Washington after the center’s board of trustees voted unanimously on Dec. 18 to rename the Kennedy Center to The Donald J.
