President Donald Trump unleashed his full fury against Republican in Name Only (RINO) Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) in a post published on Truth Social, exposing what he and many other conservatives perceive as a betrayal of the American people while also pushing to primary Massie by supporting a different candidate for his seat in the 2026 midterm election.
The post opened with Trump swinging for the fences against Massie, who he referred to as a “Weak and Pathetic RINO,” before going on to share his love of the state of Kentucky, noting he won the state by large margins six times. He explained that these victories pointed toward the 4th Congressional District in the state giving the government a mandate to adopt the president’s America First agenda and that Massie himself is not the right choice to help him as president achieve that goal. Instead, he offered his endorsement of former Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and fifth generation Kentucky farmer Captain Ed Gallrein as the man for the job.
