The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is suing the Commonwealth of Virginia over a law that grants in-state financial aid for illegal immigrants at public colleges and universities.
The New York Times reports that the DOJ filed suit against Virginia on Monday, saying the tuition assistance violates federal law because it discriminates against U.S. citizens living in other states.
