President Donald Trump said Monday that he and Vice President JD Vance had slightly different views on Trump’s decision to attack Iran alongside Israel. He said Vance was not as enthusiastic as he was. The question arose during a press conference shortly after addressing a Republican congressional retreat at his hotel in Miami, Florida, the Trump National Doral.
Trump originally said “no” when asked if there were points that he and Vance disagreed on over Iran, according to Forbes. He then added that Vance “was philosophically a little bit different than me” when it came to the war.
Without identifying specific areas of difference, Trump said that Vance was “maybe less enthusiastic about going, but he was quite enthusiastic.”
