A former New Jersey high school teacher who groomed and raped a teenage student, leading to a pregnancy she ended by aborting the unborn child to conceal her crimes, was sentenced to 10 years in prison, authorities said.
Julie Rizzitello, 37, of Brick Township, pleaded guilty in August 2025 to two counts of second-degree sexual assault after abusing two male students while employed as an English teacher at Wall Township High School.
