The U.S. State Department, on Tuesday, imposed visa restrictions on five European leaders who are accused of orchestrating or enabling censorship of Americans through pressuring U.S. tech firms.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced, in a post on X, that the State Department was taking steps to bar leading figures in the “censorship-industrial complex” from entering the United States because of their efforts to punish American viewpoints online.
