On Wednesday, April 1, 2026, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case challenging President Donald Trump’s executive order against birthright citizenship. The order was issued on the president’s first day in office and was made to prevent automatic citizenship for children of illegal aliens born on U.S. soil.
