Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) made an appearance on Fox News host Sean Hannity’s program where he discussed President Donald Trump’s epic State of the Union speech on February 24, 2026, particularly focusing on the antics of left-wing Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). During the president’s speech, Omar and Tlaib heckled Trump from their seats when he started hammering on the rampant fraud in Minnesota perpetrated by many in the Somali community.
However, the heckling was drowned out by the patriotic shouts of the Republican majority, who got to their feet and began shouting “U-S-A.” The pair of lawmakers looked to be on the verge of tears as the chanting continued. The two soon exited the event, clearly defeated. Hannity then asked Johnson why he didn’t just eject Omar and Tlaib from the event.
