Saudi Arabia says the Middle East country is prepared to “take military actions if deemed necessary,” against neighboring Iran for its missile attacks. The statement was made Thursday by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, following the Saudi capital being hit by eight ballistic missiles, according to The New York Times.
“We will not shy away from protecting our country and our economic resources,” the minister said.
Iran has launched thousands of missiles and drones at Persian Gulf countries that host American military installations since the start of U.S.-Israeli air strikes on Feb. 28.
“All I can say is, we were not intimidated,” Prince Faisal also said Thursday.
