President Donald Trump on Thursday granted a full pardon to Tina Peters, a Gold Star mother, election integrity advocate, and former Mesa County Clerk who has been languishing in a Colorado state prison for daring to challenge the 2020 election.
Peters, who is 69 years old and in poor health, is currently serving a nine-year sentence on state charges related to her efforts to investigate election systems following the highly disputed 2020 presidential election.
