2026 is the year of the mission-critical midterms of the second Trump Administration, and key to winning the midterms is properly redistricting in red states and getting as many safe House seats in the hands of Republicans as possible. As such, it was both a major blow to the party and huge betrayal of Trump and MAGA when Indiana Senators refused to redistrict and hand two more seats to Republicans.
As such, President Trump has been strident in his demands both for the RINOs to be taken to task and for the state to reject them and redistrict. As part of that, he spent much of last November and December calling for revenge against the chief RINO responsible: Indiana State Senator Rod Bray, vowing to hold the traitor accountable for his huge betrayal of MAGA.
