The Pentagon on Tuesday released the identities of four American servicemembers who were killed Sunday in Kuwait, who are also considered the first United States casualties amid the conflict in the Middle East.The War Department said all four service members were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, CBS News reported. The service members were killed in an unmanned aircraft system attack in Port Shuaiba.
The service members have been identified as:
Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida
Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska
Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota
Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, lowa.
