In the era of Donald Trump, journalists will earnestly tell each other that their jobs begin with fact-checking Trump’s lies. They must do “fact-checking in real time.” But they do nothing like that when they interview Democrats. The Sunday show hosts suck up to Democrats and let them drop rhetorical bombs.
