Jimmy Kimmel made our Christmas more annoying with his “Alternative Christmas Message” for England’s Channel 4, in which he glamorized himself as a free-speech hero. Kimmel began by suggesting “I can tell you that, from a fascism perspective, this has been a really great year. Tyranny is booming over here.” He didn’t seem to notice that England is not exactly a free-speech haven these days, with people going to jail over things they posted on social media.
