Close to 1.2 million people in Lebanon, roughly one-fifth of the country’s population, have been displaced since early March, according to a top United Nations official. The UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric separately stated that more than 1.1 million people have been displaced, with about 137,000 living in shelters. [2]
