The mother of missing Texas teenager Camila Mendoza Olmos repeatedly said “So close to home” after authorities recovered a body Tuesday in a field near the family’s San Antonio residence, according to a volunteer who assisted in the search, as reported by The New York Post.
Sheriff’s deputies and FBI agents located human remains in a Bexar County field nearly one week after Olmos, 19, disappeared during what her family believed was a routine Christmas Eve morning walk.
