Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen has publicly accused New York prosecutors of exerting pressure on him to deliver damaging testimony against President Donald Trump. In a lengthy post on his Substack newsletter, Cohen claimed that both New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg pushed him to provide testimony and information that would support their cases against Trump, rather than offering unbiased legal testimony.
Cohen was part of Trump’s inner circle prior to Trump’s first term in the White House. He pleaded guilty in 2018 to crimes including tax evasion, bank fraud and lying to Congress.
