    Los Angeles ‘No Kings’ protest turns to violent assault on courthouse, arrests made

    A Los Angeles “No Kings” protest turned violent when officers were assaulted at the courthouse.”Federal agents have started arresting those who assaulted our personnel at the Los Angeles courthouse. To those who were smashing concrete blocks and throwing them at our officers, we have you on video. We will find you and arrest you too. You’ve been warned,” wrote Bill Essayli, first assistant U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, on X.
    Federal officers were seen firing tear gas canisters into a crowd of protesters near the Metropolitan Detention Center, KTLA reported. 
    The LAPD issued a citywide tactical alert as a result of the incidents, according to The Los Angeles Times.
