A lawyer in Idaho just won his second legal battle with his homeowners association over the very festive Christmas display at his home and is using the settlement money to buy more Christmas lights, which is just hilarious.
A few years ago, when he won his first legal battle, the court awarded him a $75,000 settlement. The HOA appealed the decision and in the ensuing years, he figures that they have spent upwards of a million dollars in legal fees trying to overturn that settlement. Now they just lost to him for a second time and he was awarded even more money.
