Taylor Sheridan’s smash hit television series Landman on Paramount + totally savaged ABC’s The View in its latest episode, mocking it as being a morning talk show about a “bunch of pi***d off millionaires.” The fifth episode of the show’s second season, titled “The Pirate Dinner,” features a conversation between main character Tommy Norris, played by actor Billy Bob Thornton, and his dad, T.L., played by the legendary Sam Elliott.
As the two men talk, Tommy suggests his pops check out The View to kill some time. His dad asks him what the show is about. “A bunch of pi***d off millionaires b****ing about how much they hate millionaires and Trump and men and you and me and everybody else they got a bee up their a** about. It’s pretty funny,” Tommy responds.
