Judges for the U.S. District Court of New Jersey named a new interim U.S. attorney on Monday, following a protracted legal battle over Alina Habba’s role as top prosecutor in the district.
Rob Frazer, a career prosecutor who has worked in the New Jersey office for years, will take over for Habba, who currently serves as an adviser to Attorney General Pam Bondi. Habba, who was previously President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, was disqualified from serving in the role by a district court.
