Iran expresses willingness to make nuclear concessions if U.S. meets certain demands

Iran informed U.S. negotiators it could make concessions on its nuclear program if Washington meets key demands, including lifting economic sanctions and formally recognizing Tehran’s right to enrich uranium, a senior Iranian official said in a Reuters report on Sunday.The comments come after two rounds of indirect talks between Iranian and U.S. representatives aimed at defusing rising tensions and opening the door to a broader diplomatic agreement. 
Iran’s position reflects a desire to keep diplomacy alive at a moment when both sides remain sharply divided, particularly over how and when sanctions should be eased. 
President Trump has reportedly been weighing military options against Iran in the absence of an agreement on its nuclear program.
