In Ostia, just on the edges of Rome, in late November, human feces were found strewn throughout the San Nicola di Bari Church. A week later, at a chapel next to Rome’s Stazione Termini (the main railroad station, where migrants hang out), priests discovered feces and urine all over the place, including on top of the altar.
