House Speaker Mike Johnson was on “Fox News Sunday” with host Shannon Bream to discuss the partial government shutdown. Johnson also reminded viewers that the Democrats caused the longest government shutdown last fall, which lasted 43 days. He also talked about funding for Homeland Security and defended the right of ICE agents to wear masks and to not have personally identifiable information on their uniform in order to keep them safe.
“I know you didn’t want a partial shutdown for your birthday, but that’s where we are,” Bream said.
