Former Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday announced the relaunch of her “Kamala HQ” account as a “Gen-Z led progressive content hub.””Kamala HQ is turning into headquarters and it’s where you can go online to get basically the latest in what’s going on, and also to meet and revisit with some of our great courageous leaders,” she said in a video announcement.
The account teased an announcement on Wednesday, leading some to speculate that Harris would announce a 2028 presidential campaign.
Harris remains one of the leading contenders for the Democratic nomination, though betting markets currently assign her a 6% chance of clearing the primary.
The account, now dubbed simply “HQ” features the handle “headquarters_67” in an apparent reference to the “6, 7” meme. The account’s biography explains the handle by insisting “Elon [Musk] wouldn’t give us headquarters.”
