Infamous RINO Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) announced he will not seek reelection in 2026 after over 25 years in public service, including more than a decade in Congress. In a melodramatic post, he described representing Washington’s Fourth District as “the honor of my life,” expressing only gratitude without reservation or remorse, thanked constituents, bipartisan colleagues, and family.
Despite promises to serve out his term and select a replacement, conservatives were by and large excited to see the supposed Republcian go. Many pointed to his vote to impeach Trump and blasted him for his lack of loyalty.
