ER Editor: Somewhere the tough public sentencing of alleged rapist and Swiss Islamic scholar-celebrity, Tariq Ramadan, sounds like an outing. He is the grandson no less of the founder of deep state organization par excellence, the Muslim Brotherhood. He cuts a high profile figure in France, and it is France that has conferred a tough sentence on him of 18 years for rape. These are not the first accusations of sexual violence and coercion, however.
In 2023, he was cleared of such charges in Switzerland, but was found guilty subsequently. The BBC-linked article (first one) describes him as an erstwhile ‘rockstar of Islamic thought’. The article also describes his history of facing rape charges since 2017. Somewhere there is a ‘why this why now’ element to the story since the Muslim world is coming in for a lot of (deserved) bad press of late. Notice that this is the culmination of a whole ten years of legal fighting for Ramadan. And the Muslim holiday of Ramadan finished around March 19. We don’t believe in coincidences.
In France this may have spillover effects on deep state leftists such as ‘man of the people’ and Mediapart news website founder Edwy Plenel.

Word on the street is that Starmer, his Labour Government, Sadiq Khan and King Charles are all part of the Muslim Brotherhood.
