(ZH) – Florida Republican Rep. Carlos Gimenez blasted the Cuban regime shortly after news hit the wires that Cuban border guards aboard a vessel had fired on and killed four people and injured six on a U.S.-linked speedboat off Cuba’s north coast. The Cuban Embassy in the U.S. did not specify the exact timing of the incident in its X post.
“The dictatorship in Cuba has just attacked a boat from Florida & murdered those on board,” Gimenez wrote on X, adding, “This regime must be relegated to the dust bin of history!”
