Exclusive: ICE arrests violent illegal migrants on anniversary of reopening VOICE program

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials announced Thursday the arrests of several illegal migrants who were convicted of violent crimes, including injury of a child and robbery. The roundup comes on the one-year anniversary of the reopening of ICE’s Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement office, which was launched by President Donald Trump in his first term and closed during the Biden administration. 
“The brave men and women of ICE law enforcement continue to target criminal illegal aliens in our communities to prevent another American from being raped, maimed, or murdered by an illegal alien who should have never been in our country,” acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said in a statement shared with Just The News. 
“Yesterday, ICE arrested multiple violent assailants, including one depraved monster who injured a child. With every arrest, ICE is making American communities safer. We will never stop fighting for justice for the victims of illegal alien crime.” 
The migrants include: Juan Lorenzo Hurtado-Flores of Peru, who was convicted of criminal obstruction of breathing, blood circulation and injury to a child in New York; Vu Nguyen of Vietnam, who was convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm in California; Oscar Fransisco of Guatemala, who was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Palm Beach, Florida; Salvadoran Omar Alexander Rodriguez-Grande, who was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Texas; and Salvadoran Josue Coreas-Chavez, who was convicted in New York of robbery.
